Lilly Software Recognized by Industry
Again and Again and Again
12 July 2000, Hampton, NH (USA) — Lilly Software Associates (LSA) is once again listed among the best manufacturing software vendors in the marketplace according to several of the industry’s leading publications including start, Software Magazine, and Manufacturing Systems.
 As one of only six companies to win start’s Hottest Companies Award all three years the magazine has held the competition (1998, 1999, 2000), Lilly Software landed in this select group due to its steady growth and profitability, breadth of software design, ease of connectivity, quick adaptability, and overall product excellence
During a year when many software companies experienced weak sales and Year 2000 issues, LSA “rose above the increased pressures,” which is why start’s editorial staff selected it from a field of 200 entries as one of the 24 hot companies. In the June/July 2000 issue of Software Magazine, Lilly Software makes its third consecutive appearance on the list at #225. The Software 500 offers a comprehensive look at the enterprise software landscape, encompassing both public and private companies that develop business software and services. Software Magazine based its rankings on total worldwide software and services revenue for 1999 and gathered this information from public documents, industry analysts, and its vendor survey.  Rounding out the recent honors, Manufacturing Systems listed Lilly Software Associates for its fifth year in a row as one of the Top 100 Software Vendors. Manufacturing Systems selects recipients based on revenue and on a survey by Plant-Wide Research Group, a leading independent research firm covering manufacturing and enterprise systems software.
Lilly Software’s growth and enhanced product offering has not gone unnoticed by the analysts. In the Top 100 Profile, “Lilly Software Associates Double Digit Growth,” Manufacturing Systems states: “For a company that invests almost one-third of its revenue in research and development, it’s not surprising that LSA has a pipeline full of new and improved products….
