Lilly Software Pens Two Strategic Agreements
Agreements Aimed at Bolstering LSA's Distribution, SCE Marketshares
12 October 99, Hampton, NH - Lilly Software Associates (LSA) has penned a business alliance and a value-added-reseller agreement with two highly respected solution providers in the supply-chain-execution (SCE) field: eSYNC International for implementation services, pre-sales support, and systems and integration services, and Teklogix for radio-frequency data collection equipment. "These agreements mean a tremendous leap in our capabilities," said Stanley Chew, Product Manager of LSA's Distribution product line. "We've broadened our implementation capability, broadened the range of industries that we can serve, and now we can provide first-class hardware solutions as well."
eSYNC
LSA signed the alliance partnership agreement with eSYNC International of Toledo, Ohio, to provide delivery services for nontraditional LSA markets. Those nontraditional markets consist primarily of third party logistics, grocery, and larger mid-market clients with revenues of $250 million or more. LSA's objective is to augment its professional implementation services, particularly with increasing sales of its VISUAL Distribution product. &qout;eSYNC provides Lilly an immediate and focused supply chain execution implementation capability,&qout; said Chew. In addition to those services, eSYNC will help LSA as it pursues opportunities for the VISUAL Distribution product line. eSYNC International is a consulting and systems integration firm, whose sole focus is on helping customers optimize supply chain execution processes through systems and/or operational improvements. The principals of eSYNC have over 40 years of real-world, practical, supply chain execution experience.
Teklogix Inc.
LSA has signed a partnership agreement with Teklogix Inc. of Ontario, Canada, to provide Teklogix' radio frequency data collection products as part of LSA's supply chain management solution. Teklogix is a global provider of real-time data collection and communications solutions. The company enhances its partners' supply chain operations by designing, installing and supporting total wireless solutions for the mobile workforce. "Teklogix' heritage has been not just in warehousing, but in supply chain execution," said Chew. "We offer software solutions in both those areas, so this partnership is ideal for us. And they simply provide superior products and services. We know that, because we've seen three of their installations already, interfaced with VISUAL Distribution." LSA has placed three installations of Teklogix with two more planned within next three months. Currently, there are more than 6,000 Teklogix systems installed in 50 countries around the world.
