Lilly Software Named One of USA's Fastest Growing Technology Companies
17 November 99, Hampton NH - Lilly Software Associates (LSA) has been named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious "Fast 500" Program, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing US technology companies. Rankings are based on five-year percentage revenue growth from 1994-1998.
Lilly CEO Richard T. Lilly credits ease of use with the company's 1,146% revenue growth between 1994 and 1998. "I believe we started with a superior product," said Lilly, "But also with an understanding of the end user, the manufacturers. Production is their specialty, not computer expertise. They want higher profits, soon as possible, with virtually no learning curve or interruption to business. It's a tall order, but that's how we distinguished ourselves."
Mark Evans, Managing Director of the Deloitte & Touche High Technology Group, wrote that making the Fast 500 is "A testament to a company's leadership, and its ability to not only have the right solution for that moment in time, but also the vision that allows growth over five years. Lilly Software has proven they have the right stuff to succeed, and we salute their accomplishments."
Lilly's 1,146% revenue growth secured a ranking of 260 in the Technology Fast 500. Since 1992, Lilly Software's worldwide installed base has topped 2000. More than 500 people now sell or support Lilly Software products worldwide.
