CASYS Engineering Technology of Taiwan Newest Reseller of Lilly Software's ERP, APS Systems
Agreement expands Lilly's already extensive worldwide coverage
5 October, 1998, Hampton, NH - Lilly Software Associates, Inc., providers of fully integrated Supply Chain Management software, today welcomed CASYS Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., into Lilly's exclusive worldwide distributorship. CASYS, headquartered in Taiwan, with offices in both Taichung and Taipei is the most recent sales and service office of the 26 that now span the globe.
"CASYS' strength in the machine tools, plastics and electronics industries, will enhance Lilly's presence in the Asia/Pacific region," said Paul Sultzbach, Lilly's Vice President of Asia/Pacific Operations. "These are vertical markets we've prepared to tap with our flagship product, VISUAL Manufacturing® , and Taiwan is a regional leader for of those markets."
The agreement calls for CASYS to translate VISUAL Manufacturing into Traditional Mandarin Chinese over the next two months, VISUAL Manufacturing is currently available in Simplified Mandarin Chinese. CASYS, as an exclusive reseller, will distribute Lilly's products, including VISUAL Manufacturing and all of its modules. The reseller agreement with CASYS will spring Lilly into the enormous Taiwan metal working market.
Ed Lee, president and general manager of CASYS Engineering Technology, founded the company in 1990 with a mission to provide a total solution in business and manufacturing system information technology, to small and medium-sized manufacturers in Taiwan. CASYS employs 45 people between its offices in Taichung and Taipei.
