VISUAL CRM Version 2.0 Offers Remote Synchronization and More User-Friendly Features
16 April 2001, Hampton, NH (USA) — Lilly Software Associates announces the release of version 2.0 of its customer relationship management solution, VISUAL CRM™.
Lilly Software has enhanced VISUAL CRM’s flexible, scalable design to make the application easier to navigate with more automated features for performing tasks and updating information. It integrates closely with VISUAL Manufacturing, allowing users to quickly access key menu items from receivables, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, engineering, manufacturing, and payables. It also offers expanded user-defined fields so employees can customize their views and classify contacts and accounts to their preferences. In addition to these features, VISUAL CRM now includes multiple wizards to assist users with procedures such as adding new contacts to the database and attaching documents to e-mail messages.
“Version 2 of VISUAL CRM does not act as an interface to VISUAL Manufacturingâ but provides true, real-time integration. Our customers can now unite front-office and back-office data, which is essential to their successful sales and customer service strategies,” says Jeff Holway, sales director, VISUAL CRM, Lilly Software Associates.
VISUAL CRM consists of a foundation module, Contact Center, and four optional add-on modules: Sales, Help Desk, Service, and Marketing. A synchronization tool, Remote Synch, is also available for purchase, which allows remote users to download current information and transfer data between the Sales module, Contact Center, and e-mail.
“VISUAL CRM leverages a powerful, proven data synchronization engine that offers remote sales and services users the most current account information from anywhere in the world,” explains Holway.
Additional enhancement highlights include:
- A new import utility for CRM users to migrate account data from other contact management systems.
- The ability to manage competitor information and track opportunities assigned to sales representatives from the Sales module.
- Integration with VISUAL Manufacturing, which allows users to enter orders and verify order status using the Order Entry Window, Internet Order Entry Window, and the Order Inquiry Window.
- Batch process invoicing so users can create receivables for service items.
- New document management features within the Marketing module that help companies maintain catalogs of marketing literature and send broadcast e-mail to prospects and customers.
- A mail merge feature that allows companies to send information to multiple contacts instantly and offers direct integration to Microsoft Office from Contact Center.
- The ability to define multiple views of call issues and resolutions and filter these by priority level, customer service representative, or product using Help Desk.
